Seriously, doesn’t ‘Vegas Volt’ sound like a Bond film? I think it fits perfectly with ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘Skyfall’. Uh-hu, yes, I can picture it in cinema’s. Let’s pretend I didn’t fall asleep watching Casino Royale and therefor don’t want to watch Skyfall. Have to say I stayed awake watching Quantum of Solace.
Of course this post isn’t about 007, looking at the photo you already figured I am talking about a lipstick! A few weeks back I accidentally ended up on Carnaby Street. My sense for direction is like.. nonexistent so yeah, it was a complete accident that I ended up there. But I am glad I found it because I really like it there, it feels like home. Anyhow, as I walked past all the nice shops my eye caught a small sign just a little further. Never seen it in real life but immediately knew where it was from: MAC. All my favourite beautyvloggers/bloggers rave about this brand so I had no other choice but running past Make Up Store, straight up to that small sign.
MAC on Carnaby Street is really small but I like that. It is small enough for the people outside to think: I won’t go in just yet, I’ll wait until some people leave, but big enough to move properly. Perfect for people like me who don’t like crowdy places. I didn’t go in completely unprepared, I was eyeing this lipstick for a pretty long time and basically saw my chance to see how it looked off-screen. I had some trouble finding the right colour (it was my first time in a MAC store and of course I forgot the lipsticks finish and therefore didn’t know where to start looking) but after some help I found it and was pretty much sold right away.
Vegas Volt is an orange-coral with a creamy, opaque finish. It seems a bit summer-y but I think it’s definitely wearable during autumn! Everytime I wear it I get compliments about my lipstick, even from complete strangers! For swatches I recommend Temptalia.
I am so happy with my first ever MAC purchase and will definitely go back to the MAC store at Carnaby Street when I feel like a new addition to my one-piece collection. Any recommendations?

Ik wil ook al heel lang iets van MAC, maar heb tot nog toe nog niks gekocht! Vind dit een heel mooi kleurtje, maar weet van mezelf dat ik toch nooit lippenstift draag, omdat het bij mij zo onnatuurlijk voelt, haha!

Heel erg mooi kleurtje! Ik heb er vorig jaar ook 1 gekocht (op Covent Garden), ze blijven zo fijn lang zitten. Ik wil erg eigenlijk stiekem wel weer graag 1.

Ik heb van het weekend mijn lippen verbrand dus die zitten onder de blaren! Lippenstift staat dan niet erg mooi. Ik zal zo snel mogelijk zelf een foto maken.
